Palmer Read-A-Thon 2025

How it works:

• Sign your student up for this event here.

• Register your student/reader using their classroom teacher's name.

• Once you have your student registered, it is easy to send emails and text messages, asking friends and family to donate to support Palmer Elementary.

• Use this same page to log your student’s reading minutes when the event begins. We will provide more information on logging reading minutes later.

Please register your student for the 2-week event.   We will provide more information about logging reading minutes as well as some exciting rewards and incentives for participating are coming soon! 

All money raised directly supports our amazing school community! Here's how Friends of Palmer has have made a difference this year:

•  Purchased new soccer goals for the turf field

• Hosted a community movie night for our Palmer and neighborhood friends and family.

•  Gave over $3000 in grants to our deserving teachers to enhance our children’s classroom experience.

•  Stocked our teachers’ lounge with snacks and drinks.

Friends of Palmers has more great ideas on how to make our school community even better, and we need your support! Currently we’re working on ways to beautify the outside space and are planning more community events.

This year every classroom that raises $500 will receive a prize.

•  Elementary School: Pajama and Popcorn Party!

• Middle School: 

  • Dance party 

  • Teachers vs. students basketball game

  • Karaoke 

  • Extra recess

• Top 3 Readers: $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble
